Our Mission

To stand and work for democracy, the rule of law and human rights in Pakistan and across the world through engaging with governments, international stakeholder institutions, human rights organisations and independent activists and commentators.

Our Work

The PWA (Pakistan World Alliance) was founded on 30 November 2024, days after the Islamabad Massacre, where unarmed pro-democracy protesters were shot dead in the Pakistani capital in a pre-meditated massacre by the fascist regime.

The PWA was formed to unite activists and stakeholders across the world to address and alleviate the human rights and civil liberties in Pakistan and contribute to such causes worldwide.

Member organisations who have come together to form the PWA continue to actively engage with their local governments and policy makers, independent journalist/analysts and activists worldwide.

Highlights of some PWA member organisation engagement can be viewed in the Gallery.

Throughout 2025, the PWA will create wider collaborations to unite on a uniform agenda for human rights and democracy.

Our Objectives

  1. Release of arbitrarily detained Imran Khan and innocent political prisoners

  2. Establishment of a true democracy run independently by a civilian government

  3. Restoration of the supreme power of the Supreme Court, creating an independent judiciary to indiscriminately implement the rule of law
